Once upon a time in a forest, there lived a group of pigeons in a banyan tree and a rat lived under the same tree. The head of the pigeons and the rat were very good friends. One day, rat came to the head of the pigeons and told him that he had to go to a nearby town where he will be staying forever. He invited the head of the pigeons over there for a good time. Saying this, the rat left the place.
One day as usual, the pigeons flew high in the sky in search of food. Suddenly one of the pigeons shouted and said, “Hey just look down! Good amount of grains are scattered. Let’s go and eat them.” The head of the pigeons told all of them not to go as there were no fields nearby. The head of the pigeons felt that there is something fishy. From the flock of pigeons, one pigeon said,”Our head always doubts each and everything. I am going to go and eat.” Then all the pigeons flew down to eat the grains. The head of the pigeons followed them.
Within a second they realized that they were not able to move their legs. All of them were caught in the net by the hunter. The head of the pigeons angrily said, “If you would have listened to me, we wouldn't have fallen in trouble like this.” The hunter was coming towards them. Seeing the hunter walking so fast the head of the pigeons instructed to fly all together at a time so that they can fly off the net and reach the nearby town where the rat is staying. The rat would help them to release from the net. All the pigeons listened to what there head had instructed and flew together with the net and reached the nearby town.
The head of the pigeons called the rat and the rat was ready to rescue them. The rat and all the other members of his community came forward to rescue them. They all cut the net with their sharp teeths and released the pigeons. The head of the pigeons and the other pigeons thanked the rat. The rat invited all of them for dinner. The rats and the pigeons had a very good feast and enjoyed the day all together.
